School strikes fear in the hearts of students

Benton Keller, LHS Freshman Connections Student

Walking up to the front doors, upcoming freshmen gain some confidence from the bright, patriotic building The lobby sparkling with sunshine, and shining trophies and awards sealed away behind glass. But walking into the hallways is a totally different story.

“It looks like depression was born here,” said Tyshann Tate, LHS freshman..

Classrooms are dark and locked up. A foul spell drifts in the air. Chairs, desks and tables piled into a maze. Finally, a darkness flowing through the air, clouding your vision. Freshmen inhale this and don’t get the same feeling they would during the school year.

“The halls are dark and scary,” said Ray Nielsen, LHS freshman.
