Whether you are six-years-old or 16-years-old, when the calendar flips past September and the air becomes more crisp, whip up a batch of pumpkin-shaped sugar cookies and plop down on the couch because it is time for the greatest month of the year, Monstober.

For many, these Disney Channel movies have become a tradition for the month of October just like carving a pumpkin or trick-or-treating. Even though these movies might not have actually spooked anyone, everyone has their favorites and no one can quite let go of the love they have for Monstober.

This year’s featured movies include “Girl Vs. Monster,” “Twitches 1” and “Twitches 2,” and of course everyone’s favorites “Halloweentown” and “Return to Halloweentown.” In addition to currently running Halloween themed episodes like “Bizardvaark,” “Best Friends Whenever” and “K.C. Undercover,” Disney is also bringing back some of their greatest TV shows. Keep an eye out for the best halloween episodes of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Hannah Montana,” “Suite Life of Zack and Cody/On Deck,” “That’s So Raven” and “Corey in the House.”

Not only does Monstober satisfy the little kid in everyone, it also satisfies the charts. Disney’s Monstober has more than doubled Nickelodeon’s October-themed TV shows and it has brought in 3.45 million viewers since 2013. Monstober has also rated 9.1 out of 10 stars in previous years and has brought in a box office of $300,000.

When the spooky season comes around the corner, no one can help getting excited over the Disney Channel original Halloween movies.
