Can LeBron complete the process?

For many months the NBA world has been on its toes wondering if LeBron James is happy where he is at. Many rumors have lingered on where his prefered destination is going to be this off season. With many questions in the air, one thing is for sure: the recruiting process is in full effect.

From Eastern conference teams all the way to the West coast, James has clearly been one of the most sought after players to ever play the game. Not one team, if eligible to get him, would pass up on the opportunity to get him this summer as he makes everyone around him better and creates a winning culture wherever he goes.

Recently, James has been receiving high praise from teams like the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76er’s. From words of encouragement out of the mouths of greats like Greg Popovich and Magic Johnson, to NBA social media platforms shouting him out on Twitter and Instagram, the Philadelphia 76er’s have seemed to top them all.

This past weekend, the Sixers had one of the strongest pitches to James, and even caught his attention. They threw up three different billboards in Cleveland, one that read “complete the process” another with “Philly Wants LeBron” as well as a visual aid of what the court spread would be like with him on the team.

Pairing James alongside up-and-coming all-stars like Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons is something that really comes to the liking of James. He has not been shy about wanting to mentor a young baller and take him under his wing, and who better to do that to than Simmons or Embiid?

Although James’ main focus is to bring Cleveland another championship and make it to his eighth straight finals, he has also shown to be at least somewhat impressed.

“I mean, you can say it is a distraction, It is not, it is not a distraction,” said James. “It is actually very flattering. I am sitting here at 33 in my 15th year and people in their respective cities want me to play for them. I mean, it is cool, I think. It is dope.”
