Jonathon Underberg, a senior at LHS, has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity, yet he needs the help from fellow classmates and staff to make it a reality.

Underberg has been chosen to play basketball in the 2018 USA Special Olympics in Seattle. In order to make the trip happen, he has to raise $1,000.

The Special Education department has set up a fundraiser to help Underberg. They will be selling wristbands for $1 before and after school in the lunchroom on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26. They will also be available in the lunchroom during 4th and 5th lunch on Thursday, April 26.

The department will also be selling baked goods to staff only Thursday, April 26 and Friday, April 27 which can be bought with a free will donation.
