Sydney Sweeter is a proud member of the JV Cross Country team, Varsity Track team, Student Council, FCA and most importantly, The Statesman. When Sweeter isn’t writing breaking news stories, she is most likely petting a dog, sleeping or trying to jump over hurdles. Sweeter’s favorite part of being on staff is getting to show off her mediocre basketball skills when playing mini basketball and getting to sit next to future Oscar recipient Joe Hiatt.
