1.) What activities/functions did you participate in at LHS?

I played basketball and baseball.

2.) Do you still participate in any of these activities?

I coach basketball at LHS (and try to play from time to time).

3.) Is there an activity/function that exists now that you wish you could have participated in?

STEM circle.

4.) What is the most memorable moment from your years at LHS?

I would not pick one single moment or event, but making friends and memories at LHS is something that I do not ever take for granted.

5.) What year did you graduate?

Zero-6, zero-6, zero zero zero zero zero-6.

6.) What has changed the most at LHS from when you graduated to now?

Not a whole lot, although the new gym was not a thing yet and the extra set of glass doors in the main entrance were not there yet. Cell phones weren’t quite as ubiquitous then, either.

7.) Which subject/teacher had the biggest impact on your life?

My teachers that were also my coaches, who I now get to coach alongside of: Embry and Halseth. Also, all of my math teachers (Eidsness, Brown, Conrad and Coyne) encouraged and grew my interest in the subject that I now get to teach.

8.) Did you ever think you would come back to LHS as a teacher?

Not really, it was just a happy accident.

9.) What was your favorite thing about being a student at LHS?

There is something special and different about LHS, and I don’t really know how to describe it. Our hallways have always felt like a second home to me, as a student and now as a teacher.

10.) What is your favorite thing about being a teacher at LHS?

We get better cafeteria food than the students! In all seriousness, my favorite part of my job is meeting students, building relationships and hopefully along the way teach them a few things, too.
