I eventually do friend former students on Facebook, but I wait for a while until the time between my teaching them and their graduation has had some distance.

What tests your patience as a teacher?

Students saying “It’s too hard.”

What’s a fashion choice you regrettably took part in?

We were too poor to be in fashion. I wish school uniforms would have been required.
