After a long two weeks of anticipation, the new LHS Student Council members have been announced.

The Student Council elections have been happening for three weeks, but due to snow days, voting and the results were moved to a later date. Students completed voting on Tuesday, Feb. 12, and the names were released on Friday, Feb. 15. All freshman, sophomore and juniors were able to vote for the students of their choice. They were also shown a video with information about each of the candidates that were made by the Statesman. The new members will have their first meeting on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8 a.m. in room A201.

The new member’s first big event that they will plan will be the Leprechaun Slamathon Volleyball Tournament that will be on Tuesday, March 19, along with Mr. LHS, which will be on April 5.
