Calling all concert fanatics

As warmer weather approaches, people in Sioux Falls, SD find themselves eager to do more activities. However, the unreliable weather that is known to occur in our region causes people to seek indoor events. This year, several concerts are happening at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center that people can attend as a means of entertainment.
Between the months of March and Nov., there are a total of 15 concerts happening at the PREMIER center. People are bound to find a concert that interests them due to the wide variety of concert types, including rock, country, metal and religious.
MercyMe, a rock band that formed in 1994, will be performing at the PREMIER center on March 28. The opening performers for this band include David Leonard and Jeremy Camp. This concert is fitting for anyone ranging from children to adults, as this band has been heard by nearly everyone.
Alongside the rock concerts, there are also many country concerts. One of the most well-known country bands will be performing at the PREMIER center on April 15.
The Zac Brown Band will soon be performing “The Owl Tour.” This will be the second time this band has played in Sioux Falls in slightly over a year. Opening for the band is Poo Bear & Sasha Sirota and Amos Lee. Tickets are selling fast, so if people want tickets they should get them as soon as possible.
Another well known American country music group performing at the PREMIER center is Little Big Town.
Founded in 1998, this band has consisted of the same four people since then. Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook and Philip Sweet have been creating music together for more than 20 years. Some of Little Big Town’s most popular songs are “Girl Crush,” “Pontoon” and “Little White Church.” This band will be performing on June 27, so it is suggested that country fans buy tickets immediately.
Pertaining to fans of Christian music, a newer singer who started in 2015 will be performing on May 16.
Soon, Lauren Daigle will be performing at the PREMIER center for the first time ever. She became more recognized in 2018 when she released her album “Look up Child.” JOHNNYSWIM will be opening for the 28 year old singer. Since Daigle has never performed in Sioux Falls, tickets are likely to sell fast.
For those interested in a throwback rock group, The Backstreet Boys are coming to the PREMIER center on Aug. 4.
The creators of the famously known song “I Want It That Way” will perform their DNA World Tour in Sioux Falls, SD. Since the band started in 1998, everyone from teens to adults grew up listening to their music. This concert will be enjoyed by all ages.
