NFL coming to Germany in 2022

For the first time ever, the NFL will be hosting a regular season football game in Munich Germany. This game will feature the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks, it will be held in the Allianz Arena on Nov. 13.
According to NFL.com, Commissioner Roger Goodell is very excited to bring the NFL to Germany and reward the many NFL fans that live there. He also stated that Germany will be the host for more NFL games in the future.
“We are very pleased to welcome Munich and Frankfurt to the NFL family and are excited to reward our fans in Germany for their passion by bringing them the spectacle of regular-season NFL football,” said Goodell. “We look forward to staging our first game in Germany at FC Bayern Munich’s fantastic stadium later this year, and to exploring areas of broader collaboration with the Bundeslinga.”
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is a global sensation and has millions of fans all over the world. Many fans are looking forward to watching him play for the first time. Brady announced his retirement from the NFL after the past season ended. But then he shockingly announced on Instagram that he would be coming out of retirement and coming back to play football for another year. There will be plenty of Tom Brady fans in attendance as this could be his final NFL season.
The Seattle Seahawks will be playing in their second international game. Last time they played overseas it was in 2018 against the Raiders, they ended up winning by a score of 27-3. After the game, coach Pete Caroll praised the Seahawks fans and thanked them for showing up and helping the team out.
“It felt like a home game,” said coach Pete Caroll after Seattle’s win over the Raiders. “Not only were they so much for us, they made it hard on the other team as well. I know that Germany supports us well and the people here in Great Britain supported us as well, and I am sure there’s a bunch of other people who came, as well as our own fans who made the trip. We are grateful for them, it made it a very special event today.”
The NFL will be playing in Germany this upcoming season for the first time ever. There will be thousands of fans in attendance to watch Tom Brady lead the Buccaneers while playing the Seattle Seahawks.
