With Christmas around the corner, the time has come when children get their lists ready for Santa. They have a wide variety of gifts they ask for, whether it be toys or wishes they have for the upcoming season. This year, we decided to see what LHS students wish to tell Santa this Christmas. A box provided by The Statesman was displayed in the LHS lunchroom for two days, along with some papers and pens. Here is what LHS students wish to tell Santa Claus this year:

Elysse Weber, Staff Writer
Elysse Weber is a senior, third-year staff member for the LHS Statesman. Weber is in the Spanish Immersion Program and strives to be successful. Weber can be found hanging out with friends or spending her very few dollars at the mall. Weber has three crazy brothers and tries her best to avoid them at all costs. In the future, Weber dreams of becoming an interior designer, living along the coast of Florida.
Josie Tollinger, Editor-in-Chief
Josie Tollinger is a senior, third-year staff member and the Paper Editor-In-Chief for the Statesman. Tollinger plays for the LHS volleyball team and is involved in the Spanish Immersion Program. Tollinger can typically be found with her two sisters, playing pickleball, listening to country music or working at Nautical Bowls and The Minnehaha Country Club. She also loves spending time with friends and her big family. Following highschool Tollinger plans on going to SDSU to major in business. Tollinger's biggest dreams in life are to find a cowboy, become a mom and travel the world.
