Berkeley Newell is a sophomore and first-year staff member for the Statesman. When not writing stories, she can be found playing with her dog, stress-baking cookies or fantasizing about her future in a European city. She is a member of LHS colorguard, choir and theater, all of which she credits with her ability to function on five hours of sleep.
