One of Hollywood’s biggest nights, the Golden Globe Awards, took place on Sunday Jan. 8. The 74th annual Golden Globes, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, kicked off the 2017 award season where the nominees were competing for top honors, and rightfully so, since the Oscars are just around the corner.  “La La Land” came out triumphant with six awards on the night, breaking the record for the most Golden Globes won by a movie. Other successful films included “Moonlight” which had six nominations and “Nocturnal Animals.” Below is a list of the other winners on the night.
