In honor of Abraham Lincoln, LHS stepped up to celebrate for his 208th birthday. The festivities began when the Patriot Pride Committee announced a mannequin challenge for ad rooms to participate in with a birthday theme.

The video’s of participating ad rooms were played for students to see this week. Stayed tuned for the results for the winners of the challenge!

Decorations have been placed all around the statue of Abe Lincoln that is placed in the main foyer featuring balloons, party hats and streamers.

Today, on the actual date of his birthday, ice cream sandwiches were sold during the lunch periods and English teacher Shawn Bogart roamed the area dressed as Lincoln himself, selfies of Abe can be found at #lhsabeday. Proceeds from the sales will go towards the Patriot Pride assembly at the end of the year. Happy Birthday Lincoln!!!!!!!
