Just this past weekend, it was announced that “13 Reason’s Why” will be adding a second season to their show. This got many people excited, because the first season was a hit among many. It was unclear to many viewers whether or not more seasons would follow,

“13 Reasons Why” was the most tweeted series of 2017. Some people seemed to think that since all the tapes were heard in season one, that the story was over. But in the last episode, it seemed that there was much more to uncover, it did seem like it was an unfinished story. The showrunner, Brian Yorkey, talked to Entertainment Weekly about what to expect from season two. He claimed that many people said that the story had to be over. Hannah Baker had already told her suicide story and that it was done. His side of why it should not be over starts with the fact that these characters have so much depth and details about them that the viewers do not know about.

“We really have characters who, after 13 episodes, are just beginning the process of recovery and the process of coming to terms with what part they might’ve played in Hannah’s death and how Hannah’s death will change their lives going forward,” said Yorkey.

It really shows that this series is not close to being over, and that there is much more to uncover about Baker’s death, and who played a major role in it.
