LHS students and their Christams wishes

Christmas time has always been a time about giving and recognizing the biggest gift of all, but that does not always mean that others only enjoy giving gifts. This Christmas season, LHS students have come out explaining what they want for Christmas, and the results are somewhat shocking.

Junior Tate Leslie says that he wants a two foot candy cane for Christmas. “It’s got to be very big,” says Leslie. “Huge.”

Freshman Liyah White also likes her gifts larger than life, as she wants one of those gigantic teddy bears from Costco that are anything but cost efficient. “You know, a giant Teddy bear would be great,” said White.

Sophomore Tyler Hiatt has asked Santa for an apple watch this year, and some additional clothing from one of his favorite brands, Supreme. “ I want some Supreme Ultra Boosts for Christmas,” said Hiatt. He also wants a 17 inch floppy eraser.

Senior Deb Torres desperately wants some Papermate Felt Tip Pens as a gift for Christmas. Those pens tend to be exPENsive, so maybe her rich boyfriend will buy her some.

World History Teacher Eric Pooley is wishing for a Barry Sanders McFarlane figurine. This item tends to run $44.99 on Amazon with the target consumer for this gift being an 8-year-old boy.

All in all, Christmas this year has standards that have been set in the heavens. Perhaps these gifts will greatly impact the lives of their recipients, or perhaps instead we can learn to live with a spirit of giving this holiday season.
