In recent weeks, new and up-and-coming artist, Cardi B has been bombarded with pregnancy rumors and is supposedly expecting with fiance rapper Offset in early July. After the rumors began to intensify, Cardi B posted a truly iconic Instagram video that she is “just getting fat” and asking fans to “let her be fat in peace.”

Even after repeated attempts from Cardi B and Offset to settle the pregnancy rumors, fans remain unconvinced. On Sunday March 11, Cardi B wore a burgundy dress with a voluminous tulle bottom, which some are certain is hiding a small baby bump.

Cardi B has been reported to release her album next month and it is suspected that if she releases her pregnancy news now, it would shadow album popularity. In April, Cardi B is also scheduled to perform at Coachella, and if the pregnancy reports are true, this would mean she is seven months along. Recently Cardi B has been seen wearing more loose clothes and not her usual tight and form fitting clothes.  

“I’m calling it, Cardi B is pregnant. She’s not the type to wear puffy dresses for her performance and awards,” said Twitter fan @burnuptyron

When asked if he was ready to be a father, Offset responded with “I’m already a father to three, I don’t know what the h*** you are talking about.” And when asked if the rumors are true, he curtly responded with “no.”

Whether the rumors are true or not, I guess all we have to do is wait four more months to find out.
