Last week, if you scrolled through Twitter at all, you probably saw something regarding President Donald Trump and rapper Kanye West exchanging a few tweets, which surprisingly, were positive.

As crazy as it may seem in this world, the current president accused of racist comments and a famous rapper who seems to lack joy actually begin to enjoy each other’s company. Both Trump and West have a history of unpredictable behavior which has had the tendency to divide the society.

Last Wednesday on April 25, West and Trump joined forces through Twitter as Trump thanked West for his praise, also including that the two should be considered brothers who share “dragon energy.”

The first tweet was made by West, including 335K likes along with 113K comments. The tweet read, “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.” Trump responded with, “Thank you Kanye, very cool!”

The string of tweets concerned West’s fans and led them to outrage. West then began to defend himself against the negative comments by tweeting,“You don’t have to agree with Trump. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”

West then tweeted a picture of his Trump autographed Make America Great Again hat in order to show the public that he can still love everyone even though he may disagree with Trump at times.

West fans even began to question his mental stability because he called President Trump his “brother.” West and Trump are now getting along very well, and the world can not wrap their minds around it.

“I think everyone should have a right to share their own opinions,” said junior Analise Levesque. “Everyone should get along and be friends even if others see them as enemies. Kanye was just showing the world that he loves everyone, and I don’t think he should be ridiculed for it.”
