Old Disney Channel shows deserve a reboot

Change is good, but this new era of Disney Channel is not so hot. Since the removal of the wand trick and original saying, “and you’re watching Disney Channel,” the channel has not been the same.

Classic Disney Channel shows, such as “That’s So Raven,” “Kim Possible,” “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” “Hannah Montana,” “Lizzie McGuire” and “Even Stevens” have been replaced by shows that have not lived up to their greatness. Nowadays, Disney Channel’s
show schedule consists of shows like “Andi Mack,” “Girl Meets World,” “Bizaardvark,” “Stuck in the Middle,” “Liv and Maddie” and “Bunk’d.”

If Disney Channel happens to be on, I notice that the shows that are played are nowhere as good as the shows that were played during my childhood. Therefore, I think old Disney Channel shows deserve a reboot. Children who are watching Disney Channel during this era deserve a chance to see how good some classic shows were.

In the last few years, Disney Channel gave kids hope for the return of “That’s So Raven” and “Boy Meets World” through their respective spinoffs “Raven’s Home” and “Girl Meets World.” But many other ‘90s and 2000s shows deserve a reboot as well.

Junior Keenan Metzger also agrees that the new Disney Channel shows are overrated.

“The old Disney Channel used to rock,” said Metzger. “Kids nowadays should be able to get the chance to watch good shows like we used to watch.”
