LHS Statesman

The 2018 Homecoming theme and events have been announced. The theme will be “Lights, Camera, Lincoln.” The Student Council has been planning since the summer to make the week special and full of Patriot Pride. Homecoming week runs from Sept. 17-21.

The dress-up days include:

  • Monday: Celebrity Day
  • Tuesday: Sci-Fi Day
  • Wednesday: Disney Day
  • Thursday: Old Hollywood Day
  • Friday: Red Letter Days

There will be a movie night on Tuesday night, Sept. 18 (time and location TBD). Coronation will be at 7 p.m. and the Variety Show will follow on Thursday, Sept. 20. The Variety Show will cost $5. Friday, Sept. 21 will be Red Letter Day with a Pizza Feed, Variety Show, Inflatables and pep rally. Students will need to purchase their pizza ticket beforehand for $5.  The Homecoming game will take place at Howard Wood Field at 5 p.m. and will be free to all students. The Patriot Party will take place at LHS after the game from 8-11 p.m. and will cost $5.
