Below is a list compiled of some fun websites to spend some time on. Some may be blocked on school computers, but all are mostly worthwhile.
Though this is not a site to view super-secret FBI documents, it is a pretty snazzy website to get a little bit of knowledge from. You can sign up with your email and get an email every day with a piece of news that would (probably) otherwise go unnoticed.
Ever wanted a temporary email address that ends with ‘@sharklasers.com’? Well now you can! An email that automatically destructs after an hour so you do not have to deal with pesky spammers when signing up to a site you probably will not use ever again.
A Profoundly Uncomfortable Game
I Love You Like A Fat Lady Loves Apples is a game you just can not take your attention away from because it is so wild. The music is what really does it for most people. Out of all strange Internet games, this one is one of the weirdest.
This website is not just one of the most virus-looking non-virus website out there, it is also an enigma for anyone who visits. Basically, you just write on a big ol’ wall and that is it, but some of the pieces written on there can truly change your life. Including, but not limited to, the word “peepee” written hundreds of times, but also an emoticon of a bunny farting (included below for viewing pleasure.)
What the **** Should I Make for Dinner? (NSFW)
There is a whole lot of profanity in the site, but incredibly helpful if you want a really, really aggressive push in the right direction for dinner. They even have vegetarian options! The site also links you to the recipes. Basically everything you need in order to feel pressured to make food.
This one is for people who do not mind jumpscares. It is originally in Korean, but has been translated into English. Though this website is an old relic, slowly collecting dust, it remains a pretty good story for those who are seekin’ a spookin’.
Every 60 seconds a new visitor, but only one at a time. It is very exclusive and over a1 million people have waited for their sweet sweet chance at a minute to write a message. Huge waste of time, but probably well worth it. Probably.
A shark-tracking website! The sharks have names! One of the sharks’ name is Hal! What more could a person want?
