“Cobra Kai” is the best sequel you can find on Netflix right now. This show is a continuation of “The Karate Kid.” This series has frequent action and will have viewers binge-watching it until it is over.

“Cobra Kai” was recently released on Netflix on Aug. 28, 2020. This show is a fantastic sequel to “The Karate Kid.” Everyone knows the famous scene in “The Karate Kid” when Daniel Larusso does a crane kick to win the match against Johnny Lawrence. Well “Cobra Kai” is the story of what happens after that day. Many years later Larusso and Lawrence are still on terrible terms. These two go back and forth throughout the whole series and their constant feuding makes for a very interesting show. In the very beginning, Lawrence is pretty poor and drunk. One night when Lawrence was buying beer, he saw Miguel Diaz getting picked on (Lawrence’s neighbor), Diaz was thoroughly impressed by Lawrence’s karate moves that he used on the kids bullying him. Diaz then asked him to be his sensei and Lawrence agreed.

I believe that everyone played their part in the show very well, but I think that Diaz’s part was played the best. In the beginning, he is a little scrawny nerd, and he transitions into this mean jock overtime. It is a very smooth but fast transition, and that is why it is so outstanding. It does not take long to develop but also does not change over one episode.

This non-stop action will have viewers watching this show over and over. There are action-packed episodes in every single season. If one likes a movie with fighting or a storyline based on “The Karate Kid,” I would highly recommend it.

“Cobra Kai” is rated TV-14, and I would recommend it to anyone who is in high school or interested in shows with a lot of action. I personally really enjoyed watching this show and think that this is one of the better shows out on Netflix right now.
