You or someone you know may have been affected by COVID-19, in some cases worse than others. Across the world, 35.5 million people have or had the virus since the spread began. Celebrities and civilians alike are trying their best to settle down on the social activity to drown the outbreak, even though restrictions are being eased depending upon where you live. But, it’s clear that COVID-19 does not care who you are or how famous you might be.

Only a few days ago, President Donald Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump revealed that they both tested positive for COVID-19. Trump goes on to say on Twitter he will begin the “quarantine and recovery process immediately.” Although, White House officials stated that he feels well and will carry out his presidential duties.

Actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, his wife and two kids all tested positive for COVID-19. He said in an Instagram post that they retrieved the virus from close friends. “I can tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we’ve ever had to endure as a family,” Johnson said.

The eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt was another celebrity who tested positive, though he said he showed no symptoms. He caught the virus after his friends threw him a surprise birthday party. Bolt says he is quarantining at home and “just taking it easy.”

On the sports side of things, quarterback Cam Newton received a positive COVID-19 test result. The next day, Newton took to Instagram and said, “I never will question God’s reasoning, just will always respond with, ‘Yes Lord.’ I appreciate all the love, support and well wishes. I will take this time to get healthy and self-reflect on the other amazing things that I should be grateful for.”

The final celeb who contacted the virus is Kanye West. Not only were his symptoms bad, but he came down with the virus in early March. In an interview with Grazia magazine, Kim Kardashian West spoke about caring for her husband when he had COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic. “Kanye had it way at the beginning when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help,” she said. “It was a challenge because it was so unknown. Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was a really scary time.” The rapper-designer said his symptoms included “chills, shaking in the bed” and to cope, he was “taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it,” he said, adding, “I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was, ‘Drake can’t be sicker than me!'”

Hollywood’s biggest stars have spoken about their experience with the virus. If you could not already tell, COVID-19 could not care less about who you are or what your social status is. Now, these celebs are urging fans to stay safe and take the virus seriously.
