It’s that time of year again to start all your Christmas shopping and the Empire Mall added some new stores just in time.

The Empire Mall has been open for over 45 years and constantly has stores coming and going. The past couple of years many malls across the country have struggled to stay open and multiple stores in The Empire Mall closed, but recently the mall has been able to start filling up these empty spaces again. Four new popular stores have been added to the mall and they have the people of Sioux Falls thrilled.

Offline by Aerie is one of the new additions to the Empire Mall that opened right before Thanksgiving. Offline is an activewear store for women created by American Eagle and Aerie. Before they opened their new store, they sold many of their items in Aerie. They sell mainly leggings, but also sell sports bras, tops and many other workout clothes. Offline is located in half of the old Banana Republic right next to Aerie.

In the other half of the old Banana Republic location is a new store called BoxLunch. BoxLunch is a pop-culture store that sells apparel, accessories, home goods and gifts. The store opened right before Halloween and seems to already be a popular store at the Empire Mall.

Anthropologie is located across from BoxLunch and Offline in the old Gap location. It opened right before Thanksgiving as well. Anthropologie sells a variety of high-end items including clothes, jewelry, home decor, beauty and gifts. The store is very similar to the stores Free People and Urban Outfitters that are also very popular, but no locations are open in Sioux Falls yet. Overall, Anthropologie will be a great fit in the mall since it is different from the majority of stores in Sioux Falls.

Windsor Fashions opened in the Empire Mall around Thanksgiving and is located in the old Justice location around the same area as the other new stores. Windsor is a store that offers dresses, tops, skirts, denim and shoes. Windsor will be a nice addition to Sioux Falls, so fewer people will have to order fancier clothes online and can instead buy locally.

As Sioux Falls continues to grow, many more popular stores will continue to come and go from the Empire Mall. Offline, BoxLunch, Anthropologie and Windsor are all great and popular stores for the city of Sioux Falls to continue to have a variety of shopping options.
