Sioux Falls is a host of many attractions throughout the year such as the St. Patrick’s Day parade and the Parade of Lights. This upcoming summer, the city has planned to host concerts at Levitt at the Falls, an outdoor music venue taking place in Falls Park, Sioux Falls. 

The Levitt provides an opportunity for all people to come and enjoy all types of music. There are expected to be 50 different concerts occurring during this time. The best part about all of this? There is no cost at all. Anyone is welcome to go downtown when the concerts are taking place. The city wants this to be a chance for the diverse community to come together and enjoy something so simple. 

On May 5, 2022, Levitt will release the artists and bands who will be playing throughout the event. June 3, 2022 is the opening night and the event will sadly come to an end on Sept. 10, 2022. Performances will occur on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There will be five Friday morning concerts directed more towards the youth and families. Levitt wants everyone to feel included and to come out and enjoy the shows. The concerts will also be available online for anyone to watch if they cannot attend in-person. 

Levitt feels strongly about bringing the community together and getting people out of their homes to enjoy music and the beautiful summer weather. Many businesses and shops downtown benefit from Levitt taking place in the same area because more people are out and experiencing the city. When a big event happens in Sioux Falls, it often attracts more people which gives the city a good name.

The Levitt will be a great opportunity to get the community involved and together as one. The whole point of the concerts are to have the city bond over music and simply enjoy the event. Do not miss the release date on May 5, 2022.
