Prom. Almost every little girl dreams about this day. Finding a beautiful dress, getting your hair and makeup professionally done and having a great time with your date and friends. With prom being a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to try to have everything in line and have your prom to-do list all checked out. Here are things you must have when it comes to your senior prom.

    1. Say Yes to the Dress. There are many options to choose from when it comes to finding a dress. You can keep your dress simple or go all-out in Cinderella-style. If you decide to keep your dress simple, not a problem; just accessorize! You can do a beautiful hairstyle, fun earrings and if you would like, buy a pair of eye-catching heels. If you decide to go the Cinderella route with your dress, it is best to keep other features simple. Let the dress do the talking. You do not want to have a lot going on because then it might look like a hot mess.
    2. Who is the special someone? You want to know if you are going with a date. Do not stress it out, as this can simply just be a good guy friend that you have known for a while. It does not have to be your dream boo-thang! You will want to know if you are going in a group and who all is in that group. Make sure your date is secured, ladies.
    3. FOOD. Where would you and your crew like to go out to eat? Sioux Falls has many places where you can choose to eat on this special day such as Crawford’s, Carnaval Brazilian Grill, Johnny Carinos, Olive Garden and Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar. If you are like me and have a hard time selecting what dish to choose, look up the menu ahead of time and decide what you will order.
    4. Have fun. Prom might not be a big deal to everyone or seem that important, but what you want to do for sure is have a great time. This is your last chance to hit the “Cha-Cha Slide” on the dance floor and sing at the top of your lungs to “Sweet Caroline” at a high school dance with all of your friends. You want to look back and know that you tried and hopefully had a great time with your classmates and friends.
