As South Dakota music lovers gathered up their country hats and boots, they headed to the PREMIER Center to sing along with Morgan Wallen.

“The Dangerous Tour” took place on Mar. 10, 2022, at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The PREMIER Center was filled with tons of people from all over the Sioux Falls area and many who traveled to see Wallen perform. The concert opened with country singers Larry Fleet and Hardy, who led up to Morgan Wallen’s performance.

Many country music fans had been counting down the days since he first announced that he was going on tour in early November and even though the concert did not sell out, the stadium was packed with hard-core Wallen fans. People spent anywhere from $100 to $1,000 to see this concert, and Wallen did not disappoint as he made the concert worth every penny.

The concert began at 7 p.m. with Larry Fleet singing songs such as “The Weight” and many more. Then at 8 p.m., Hardy, who had previously performed in Sioux Falls at the fair last summer, took the stage. He got the crowd going and sang fan-favorite songs, “Truck,” “Give Heaven Some Hell” and “Boyfriend,” and he ended up singing around 10 songs. After a long wait at 9 p.m., Wallen took the stage.

Wallen made a grand entrance, coming up from underneath the stage, playing his piano and singing a well-liked song of his, “Sand In My Boots.” He continued to sing songs from the “Dangerous Album,” but also sang some from past albums such as “Up Down.” He opened with some of his top songs, but as the concert got towards the middle, it started to not be as entertaining as the beginning until he brought out Larry Fleet to sing a duet to “Where I Find God.” Then after this duet, he brought out Hardy to sing “He went to Jared” proving that the two are a great country music duo to be working and performing together.

After a lengthy setlist, Wallen ended his concert with his best seven songs, and the crowd could not get enough of him. Wallen was throwing out guitar picks, flowers and high-fiving the people in the pit. With the crowd already hyped and satisfied with his wonderful performance, he ended the concert with “Whiskey Glasses.”
