Sip on some Starbucks this spring

With spring having started a little over two weeks ago and as temperatures have started to rise, you will want a cool beverage in your hand. One place to venture to for this need is Starbucks. I decided to put their spring favorites to the test so that you do not have to.

The first drink that caught my attention was the Iced Matcha Tea Latte with its bright green coloring. I have never thought I would like matcha, so I mostly wanted it for the color. However, it pleasantly surprised me when I took my first sip. If you like both coffee and refreshers, like me, this could be the drink for you; it is able to give the perfect mix of both. I would describe the taste as sweet milk. It is a very refreshing drink to sip on, and I will definitely be adding this to my drink list.

Next is a very basic, but VERY delicious drink. Many people have their own way of ordering a strawberry refresher. My favorite is with no berries and lemonade. The lemonade adds a good tartness to the drink, and as for the no berries part, well I just hate when they get in my teeth. Along with being tasty, it will give you a good caffeine intake that will get you through the day. I personally order this drink all year round, but it especially hits during these soon-to-come warm months.

My love for coffee took over on these next two drinks, the first being the Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Sadly, this drink will not be my cup of coffee for this spring. On my first sip, all I could taste were the sugar add-ins. I kept drinking and stirring hoping to find some coffee taste, but it was not found. If you like a very sweet coffee, this will be right up your alley. I, however, recommend the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken espresso if you are looking to get a shaken espresso.

Our last contestant did not disappoint. The Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew was able to give me that coffee bitterness taste that the toasted vanilla could not, it was the perfect balance. Along with being refreshing, it will also keep me energized throughout the busy spring days.

Starbucks easily gained a new customer in me for the spring days to come. All these drinks were not only good but appealing to the eye with their beautiful colors and mixtures. If I would have to pick one to recommend, I would say the refresher because I have yet to find a person that disliked it. Make sure to stop at Starbucks and pick up one of these, or another, spring drink.
