Blake Lively’s look of the night, and was easily one of everyone’s favorites.

With the 2022 Met Gala happening just a few days ago on May 2, everyone definitely has their favorite and least favorite looks from the event. The theme for this year was “Gilded Glamour and White Tie,” meaning celebrities were encouraged to wear a look that represented the decades from 1860-1890s. Many people were in attendance with extravagant looks, but here are some of the most loved from the evening.

Many people’s outfit choices were unfortunately misses, but Eilish’s was definitely a hit. She was photographed wearing Gucci, and the gown was a satin ivory color with minty green and lilac accents. Her updo hairstyle fits into her look nice as well, putting a modern twist on a look inspired from long ago.

Lively’s look is easily one of everyone’s favorites. Her dress was meant to signify the Statue of Liberty, and she did just that. Her gown started as a copper color, but soon into the event it changed to a mixture of copper and teal, which represented the oxidation process the Statue of Liberty went through in the late 1880s. It is safe to say that Lively slayed!

Emma Chamberlain (Getty Images)

Since gaining fame from her YouTube videos starting in 2017, Chamberlain has only increased in popularity. She looked very elegant in an outfit that had many modern elements, like a high neck crop top, but made it fit the theme with accessories fitting the Gilded theme. I may be biased because I love Chamberlain, but I do not think she can do any wrong when it comes to fashion.

Vanessa Hudgens (Getty Images)

It is safe to say that Vanessa Hudgens served in this look. The all-black and sheer Moschino gown was loved by many, and her silver accessories took it to the next level. Hudgens’ updo and makeup also added to the look she was going for. The smokey eye made her jawline look very sharp, and there is no doubt her Gala outfit was not lacking any needed elements.

Shawn Mendes (Getty Images)

Shawn Mendes’ look was another that everyone loved. It is no secret that the Canadian singer already has lots of fans swooning over him, and his Met Gala outfit only added to this. Many people on Twitter had positive things to say about him, including the fact that he looked like a Disney prince. Due to these comparisons, it is obvious that he was one of the best-dressed celebrities there.

Regé-Jean Page (Getty Images)

This Met Gala theme set the bar high for the stars of “Bridgerton” (or past stars) due to the time in which the show takes place, and Regé-Jean Page did not come to disappoint. He was photographed wearing a blue velvet Armani suit, and although simple, he looked very classy and fit the ‘Gilded’ theme well.

Taylor Hill (Getty Images)

Considering that Taylor Hill is an American supermodel, she certainly had a lot of high expectations when it came to what she was going to wear to the 2022 Met Gala. After seeing her look, personally, she is one of my favorites from this list. The deep blue satin gown is giving all the glamorous vibes already, and the embroidered and very detailed flowers on the back only added to this. Just when you did not think her look could get any better, she also wore a small crown on the back of her head which was the subtle, but neccessary detail to wrap her whole look together.

Olivia Rodrigo (Getty Images)

With her recent gain of stardom, it is not a shock to anyone that Olivia Rodrigo was in attendance at the Met Gala. Also, considering her first album cover for “Sour” is purple, that makes this look even more special and iconic. There is no doubt that she looked great, but she incorporated her personal style into an outfit that matched the theme as well, and that is all we can ask for from our favorite celebrities.
