The District event center, located by the Empire mall, has many events planned for this upcoming summer. The District holds numerous occasions such as concerts, fundraisers, weddings and dances. The District’s location is also very convenient because there are many hotel options surrounding the event center. This makes it easier for visitors from out of town to have somewhere to stay that is close and for people who live in town, but want the option to stay in a hotel. These are the artists and bands that will be performing this summer at the District. 

Jerrod Niemann- Niemann will be performing on June 9, 2022. Niemann is an 42-year-old, American country music singer. Some of his most popular songs include “Only God Could Love You More,” “What Do You Want” and “Drink to That All Night.” The doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. 

Warren Zeiders- Zeiders is also a country singer who will be performing on June 10, 2022. The doors will open at 8 p.m. with the concert starting at 9 p.m. This concert will be available for all ages so anyone can come and enjoy some country music. Some of Zeider’s top songs include “Ride the Lightning,” “Never Look Back” and “Outskirts of Heaven.” 

Jordan Davis- Davis, also a country singer, will be performing June 24, 2022. Davis’ most popular songs include “Buy Dirt,” “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot” and “Take It From Me.” Davis’ career began at 33 years old with his famous, hit single, “Singles You Up.” Doors will be opening at 7:30 p.m. but the concert itself will not start until 8:30 p.m. 

Daughtry with Black Stone Cherry- Daughtry is an American rock band that started with Chris Daughty who was a top five finalist on American Idol in 2006. Daughtry is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for his band, that came together shortly after his time on American Idol. Black Stone Cherry is also an American Rock band with artists Chris Robertson, Ben Wells, Jon Lawhon and John Fred Young. The band came together in 2005, signing with Roadrunner Records and now signed with Mascot Label Group. The bands will be performing on July 25, 2022, the doors open at 6 p.m. with the event starting at 7:30 p.m.
