A well known Netflix series, known as “The Manifest,” has recently come out with a new season that many have been eagerly waiting for. This show consists of many suspenseful mysterious moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and having to constantly wonder what will happen next. However, was the new season a hit or a miss? Was it worth the wait?

The show came out with its first season Feb. 18, 2018. This is one of the most important seasons, where the characters are on their way home from a family trip. Turns out, they would later be split up on different planes. Little did they know, this would have an impact on all of their lives forever. Flight 828 would be life-changing for all passengers and everyone who knew them.  But the real question is, what happened on that flight?

Any passenger on Flight 828 would land five and a half years later from when they left.  But for the passengers, the flight seemed like a normal day. Was it because of the turbulence that they could have gone through some kind of time traveling portal? Did they die during the turbulence and come back in some kind of afterlife? No one knows, and it is a mystery for the characters to find out on their own when they return.

All seasons are very unique and enjoyable in their own way, however season four is the season with the most grief and sadness. Everything seems to add up in season four and the characters begin connecting the dots as to why the flight landed five and a half years later.  They experience many traumatic events that have to be solved all on their own. The 828 passengers also come back with what they call “callings,” which are visions that have meaning behind them. Some lead them to danger, and some can save lives. They don’t know why they happen, but that is another thing they are trying to figure out.

The passengers are known as dangerous to some, but heroes to others. Josh Dallas, who plays the role of Ben Stone, experienced the most trauma out of all characters during season four.

“He is in great anger and great grief that he doesn’t want to let go of. His wife has been murdered, his daughter has been kidnapped, and his son is now the age that he should be, but has accelerated in time and grown,” said Dallas.

Watch “The Manifest” to find out what happens next.
