In past NFL seasons, the NFL has selected one squad to represent the league for the HBO series of “Hard Knocks.”

While being filmed and wired during pre-season training camps, lifting events, meetings and more, the players and coaches reveal the true side of what a day in the life of an NFL player or coach is actually like. Last year the lucky team was the L.A. Rams and was one of the most nationally viewed hard knocks shows since it first aired in 2001. This year, HBO will focus on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are led by team captain Jameis Winston, along with other NFL stars like Doug Martin, Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson.

The main focus of “Hard Knocks” is to get the gory truth of how hard the practices are and also the fun side of things, from after practice giggles and random outfits that the players will where to practice, to the blood, sweat and tears shed by the most hard-working athletes in the world, “Hard Knocks” covers it all. All of the silliness and the hardships eventually lead to the toughest decisions by the coaching staffs to decide which players are right for the team and which ones will be the odd men out.

With an abundance of talent and hard-working freak athletes, the Buccaneers are on the hot seat and are ready to show the the world who will make the squad this summer on Aug. 8 when the series premiers.
