Anywhere but South Dakota

With the nicer weather, students want to spend more time outside and less time doing homework. This is when students begin to procrastinate and hope for summer to come quicker. Summer in South Dakota is almost perfect, it is not extremely hot like Arizona but not as chilly like Alaska. Although, South dakota can be a little “plain,” and there are about four hotspots that every person should visit during Summer to get in the right vibe.

On the west coast, Los Angeles is the second most populated city in America. You could start off at Disneyland and finish with a nice walk on their public beaches. They are well known for the Hollywood walk of fame and one of their most famous piers is the Santa Monica Pier.

Moving more towards the midwest, is Wyoming with Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone  is a renowned park since 1872 is is known for their beautiful mountains, wild animals and the world’s largest collection of geysers.

Next  is Chicago. If you enjoy city lights, traffic and loud noises, then this is the place for you. Chicago has plenty of beautiful sights such as The Bean and the Navy Pier. Also, they have plenty of historic buildings along with wonderful museums.

Last but not least is on the far east coast and that is Charleston, SC. It has very green and hilly drives with beautiful visions of the Atlantic ocean. In Charleston you can take a trip down rainbow road or even go to one of the most popular aquariums there. They also say that Charleston is one of the most haunted cities in the U.S. They offer many terrifying haunted prisons, houses and graveyards with a historic background to give their visitors chills.

These are only four out of many cities in the U.S. but this year these are going to be very popular spots to go to for that right summer vibe.
