Thompson Wakefield, Staff Writer
Thompson Wakefield is a senior and third-year staff writer for the Statesman. He spends his time coming up with taboo story ideas, reading lengthy articles and managing to always find something Statesman-related to complain about. Taking inspiration from the likes of Hunter S. Thompson, Vice Media and Andrew Callaghan, Wakefield utilizes Gonzo journalism and unorthodox subject matters to create stories that no one asks for, but everyone enjoys.
