LHS Statesman coming to an app store near you

Riley Rasmussen, Staff Writer

The LHS Statesman has been for running for over 51 years now. The Statesman delivers issues 6 times a year to students of LHS and subscription owners. Last month, the Statesman delivered their first issue of the 2016-2017 school year. The next issue for the Statesman will be coming at the beginning of December. Last spring, the Statesman launched their online website. This helps the Statesman bring the students of LHS and other users daily and more current news. Now, the Statesman will be launching their very own app.

The app had come up as an idea from LHS sophomore and first-year LHS Statesman staff writer, Gage Gramlick. The idea was looked into and studied more by Gramlick. Now, the idea of a Statesman app is coming to life. The app is now in the process of being designed and created by Gramlick. Gramlick has been working hard to create and design the app and find ways to make it more presentable to users.

The LHS Statesman app will contain the Statesman staff’s online stories and bios. Another possible idea for the app is to send out reminders to users about upcoming events at LHS. The app will be free of charge for all users planning to download the app for their devices. The app will also be easy to use and access. It will have a similar structure to the Statesman website but will differ from the website itself.

At this point, the LHS Statesman app is still in the works and is in the process of coming all together and looking presentable to users. The app is set to come out soon but does not have a release date at the moment. Stay tuned and check in for more information and updates coming about the LHS Statesman’s upcoming app.
