Students on the prowl for summer jobs opening up
March 16, 2017
As summer is slowly but surely approaching, many high school students are searching for ways to make money. When the heat rolls around, more options seem to open up for job opportunities. Saving up money for college tuition and other expensive events, students will need to find ways to make money before the summer ends. By the looks of it, plenty of students will be applying for different jobs in the coming season.
One solid job option for the summer is, yes, a very basic one, lifeguarding. I have had plenty of friends that have taken this job up, and it is safe to say that it is a good money maker. Not only do lifeguards get to make money, but they get to have the pleasure of saving people’s lives and get a good tan at the same time.
If someone likes being outdoors while working, but does not want to be a lifeguard, another job could be working on a golf course. Whether it is being a greens keeper or a caddy, enjoying summer days while making money could be possible with this kind of job. Also, if one is a fan of golf, this job would be very enjoyable.
Another common job opportunity in the summer, out of many, would be nannying. Spending the day with kids, bringing them to the pool and doing fun summer activities with them is a fast way to collect the money that future college students want. These kinds of jobs are only a few of the many options for summer work, with many more available.
