How to survive using social media
May 30, 2017
Using the Internet is more than connecting to WiFi and getting to certain websites. There are certain rules that one must follow in order to make their internet usage successful.
- Make a comment on every issue you have an opinion on. This one is pretty simple. Many people like to go online to share their opinions. No matter in what way, make sure it is going to be heard.
- Have people disagree with you. If everyone has the same views as you on a forum or social media site, then it could easily get boring and uneventful. Take the other side of the story and prove the others wrong.
- Keep tagging people if they have not responded. If the person never responded, chances are they are ignoring you. What better way to combat being ignored than to make sure they do not forget about you?
- Go through old threads and accounts, leaving comments and likes. If a post is good, even if it is 100 weeks old, it deserves a like or comment. No one is going to mind getting some feedback on their post for all the hard work they put into it. This may also be a chance to spark some friendship.
- There is no such thing as mean comments, only critical ones. Nothing gets a person more offended is hearing the truth when they do not want to hear it. Point it out to them, as they will only thank you later. There is nothing wrong or mean about sharing something like that.
