This off season has been a big one for the Cleveland Cavaliers. With additions of Dwyane Wade, Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose and more, they have more than enough talent to be good. The question is, is it enough to beat the powerhouse Golden State Warriors?

For the past three years, the Cleveland Cavaliers have made it to the NBA Finals with a major contribution from Lebron James. James has been outstanding for the Cavs for many, many years before, but when he came back the second time, he was missing something. A best friend. Dwyane Wade, former teammate and present best friend of James, is one of the many new additions that will bring the Cavs closer to the highly coveted championship trophy.

Not only is it Wade’s future impact. Thomas, Rose, Crowder and others will eventually find their way with the team, bringing defense and versatility to the Cav’s roster. With six all-star caliber players, the Cavs now, just like the years before, pose the strongest threat that the Warriors have seen in their short time together.

With 79.5 points combined coming from last years statistics of the newest four members of the squad, there is no question about the scoring potential of this team. Inside and out, the Cavs have three point snipers and big men that can bang the ball down low, allowing them to virtually score from everywhere on the court. However, the biggest addition is the defense they have to defend other super teams.

Through new acquisitions and former players, the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking like a team that can knock the legendary Golden State Warriors off their throne, and bring the Larry O’brien Championship trophy back home.
