With great remorse and regret, I must inform you that Donald Glover, has announced his plans to officially retire his stage persona Childish Gambino.

While showing off his shiny new Grammy award, Glover sadly confirmed the many rumours of his upcoming album as his last.

“I stand by that,” Glover told Vanity Fair magazine, while showing off his new Grammy award. “I’m really appreciative of this. I’m making another project right now, but I like endings, I think they’re important to progress.”

This news comes with great sadness as Gambino has been a standout star in the music industry since his first album, ¨3005¨, was released in 2013. With 13 albums to his name, each one more wonderful than the one before, the music industry will surely be at a great loss. The multi-talented artist has released rap and R&B albums in the past along with several mixtapes.

The world will be anxiously waiting for the Gambino´s final musical feat, which will hopefully end his music career on a good note.

However, despite this saddening news, we are glad that we will still see the multi-talented Donald Glover in show business, with upcoming roles directing in TV shows such as Atlanta, and acting in films such as Solo: A Star Wars Story as Lando Calrissian and Simba in The Lion King live action movie.

“I think if a lot of things had death clauses in them,¨ said Glover. ¨we wouldn’t have a lot of problems in the world, to be honest. I think endings are good because they force things to get better.”
