Josiah’s: The hot spot of SuFu

Sioux Falls welcomed Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Cafe & Bakery’s new and much larger location, and it is already proven to be a hit.

I personally have been able to dine and experience the atmosphere of Josiah’s and to say in the least: it is amazing. While in the restaurant, you forget that you are in Sioux Falls, as it feels as though you are eating at a hipster upper-scale restaurant in New York. This restaurant has and will continue to be a great addition to Sioux Falls.

Not only was the atmosphere fun to experience, but the food was good in quality and quantity. The health-concerning, but delicious food can accommodate most allergies and preferences.

Along with the fabulous food and the modern but classy atmosphere, Josiah’s offers a “Phillips Gathering Place,” which is a big room that is connected to the restaurant that is similar in design, but much it is much larger to accommodate business, large groups or parties.

Not only was I the only one in awe of this new restaurant, but junior Savannah Heeren is in love with this new addition as well.

“I love this restaurant and coffee shop,” said Heeren. “There is a ton of beautiful and natural sunlight, which is nice while studying. And the food is super good, but it is kind of spendy. Otherwise, it is really natural food that tastes awesome. Overall, Josiah’s is cool because it is a coffee shop and a restaurant in one. It is a definite go-to for the college students with full days worth of studying.”

While Heeren takes advantage of this hipster oasis for studying, many also just eat out at Josiah’s for lunch or breakfast. Although with this hot spot becoming quite popular, it can be quite busy during the average lunch and breakfast hours.

If you are looking for a spot to grab a tasty bite of lunch or breakfast, in a fun atmosphere, I would check out Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Cafe & Bakery.
