Best and worst of LHS

As the school year is coming to an end, the truth of what is best and worst at LHS comes out.

Most high schools are not absolutely perfect, but sophomore Slater Dixon and freshman Sophia Boyt have opposite opinions from each other about LHS. So we are left with a couple question, what makes LHS so great and what are the worst parts?

“I like the classes, the sweet face of Mr. Grimm and the love and affection of my friends, but there are lots of activities for everyone. But you know what I don’t like about Lincoln, is how they changed the color temperature of the lightbulbs in the foyer,” said Dixon.

Dixon was only able to find one low about being a student at LHS but on the other hand, Boyt has many things she dislikes about it here at LHS.

“The staffing is kind of weird, we don’t get enough time between class periods, the scheduling was kind of weird at times and I really miss recess and nap time! School starts way too early and gets out to late. When we have half days it’s almost the same amount of school, and we get out at 12:30. There is still some froshing. It’s not as bad as it used to be but everyone still hates freshmen! Lastly, the last day of school is just tests and I think we should have time to say goodbye to everyone,” said Boyt.

So with these few days of school left, enjoy the best and worst parts of LHS, then you can have an awesome summer filled with sleeping in every day and staying out late.
