World-renowned star, billboard hits and a Hollywood life: it is a dream many wish to achieve, yet only a select few will make it to the top.

Grammy nominee Billie Eilish is living this reality. At the young age of 18, she has accomplished more than most will in their lifetime. With a total of 16 awards, three top 10 billboard songs and a net worth of $6 million, she is considered one of the most successful teens within this era.

Being selected as a Grammy nominee is an award in and of itself, but for Eilish, it is much more than that. She is making her mark as a contender in four major categories; remarkably, Eilish was nominated for six awards in total. Not only that, but she is also making history in the 2020 Grammys. Eilish (at the time 17, but now 18), is the youngest artist to be recognized for the top four awards within the show: album of the year, song of the year, record of the year and best new artist.

The competition is fierce this year. Lizzo, Lil Nas X and Ariana Grande are all being considered for the top spot in the same pop categories as Eilish. Many would say that these three artists have an advantage over Eilish. They are also being considered as nominees for the R&B category, and this creates more of an opportunity for them to receive an award. Due to the fact that Eilish is only eligible for one category, it makes her number of nominations even more impressive. While all of the artists are strong contenders, Eilish stands out due to her fast-growing fame and young age.

Regardless of whether or not Eilish can secure the win, this is still considered a major achievement for both herself and her fans. With such a strong group of musicians, this year’s Grammys are bound to be a hit! The ceremony will be broadcast by CBS on Jan. 26th in Los Angeles; make sure to tune in for a night full of America’s favorite artists.
