Are you a fan of fresh, fast, reliable, tasty Mexican food? Well, then you are in for a treat. Pancheros Mexican Grill has two locations in Sioux Falls. One is off of West 41st Street and the second is right off of South Louise Ave.

Pancheros made its grand opening on Sept. 13, 2016, and has been a hidden gem ever since. What impresses me the most about Pancheros is the cleanliness of the restaurant. I have never walked into Pancheros and thought “Oh this place is kinda dirty and gross.” The floors are almost always clean and the tables and booths almost never have any crumbs or food left on them.

My go-to order would have to be either a bowl or a burrito with rice, black beans, double chicken or carnitas, cheese, mild salsa and sometimes I will add some lettuce. However, it is very hard to pass up on the chips and salsa, and usually, I end up including that in my order as well. If you are looking for a nice cold beverage to go with your meal, you are in luck, because Pancheros offers a free fountain drink if you show them your student I.D.

Yes, I know there are tons of other great Mexican restaurants to choose from here in Sioux Falls, but what sets Pancheros apart from Qdoba, Taco Bell, Taco Johns or Incas, is the high-quality service. Every time I go into Pancheros the employees always have a smile on their faces, they are always happy and give off great energy to the customers. In addition, Pancheros offers a free drink with a student I.D. Yes, I know I already said that, but how can you pass up a free drink?

“I love Pancheros, the service there is immaculate and their burritos are delicious, something about their tortillas, I do not know what they do to them but they are just so good, ” said LHS senior Nicholas Jensen. In addition, the free drink with a student I.D. gives it a huge advantage over Qdoba.”

If you are driving by a Pancheros or you are just in the mood for some good Mexican food, I highly recommend stopping here. Just make sure to remember your student I.D.
