These three couples found “love” on a reality TV show, but then reality set in.

In the past year, more than six Bachelor Nation couples have gone their separate ways, and most fans are pretty disappointed since they were some of the most rooted for couples.

The most recent shock to Bachelor Nation is the breakup of Dale Moss and Clare Crawley. Fans definitely thought these two would last more than five months. On the night Crawley met Moss she claimed that she met her husband right then and there. Moss was the person she had been waiting for and she made it very clear she was head over heels for him. This couple left the show engaged after only 12 days of filming. Some sources say that Moss cheated on Crawley, but Moss claims otherwise.

“There’s no one person to blame,” said Moss on his Instagram story.

Another recent Bachelor couple breakup is one that maybe flew too high. Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have been rocky since the beginning. Weber’s show aired on Jan. 6, 2020. He had it narrowed down to four women and in the end, he proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. That relationship did not last longer than a month, and soon after, Weber decided to give it another go with his second choice, Madison Prewett. That relationship also failed, and fans’ likings for Weber went downhill. After hearts were broken, Flanagan came into the picture. Flanagan was part of the show, but Weber sent her home right before the episode of “Hometowns.” With these two, everything took off quickly. After spending quarantine together, traveling, moving in together and sharing their love story across the internet, everyone had high hopes. Sadly, Weber and Flanagan have decided to call it quits. According to sources, their personalities did not match up and they were having major disagreements.

Bri Stauss and Chris Watson, recently announced that they are going their separate ways nearly after a year of dating. These two fell in love on the romantic singing competition “Listen to Your Heart.” The show allowed them to make music together, and it also allowed them to share a special bond through something they are both very passionate about.

“We still hope to make music and tour together in the future, but for now we ask for privacy as we navigate the next chapter,” said Stauss on her social media post.

Although the two outstanding singers have decided to split paths, they still will remain friends and will cherish the experience forever.

Season 14 of “The Bachelorette” featured Becca Kufrin. Kufrin fell in love with Garrett Yrigoyen, and they had been engaged for two years. This past September, Kufrin spoke out for the first time about their break up. Kufrin mentioned that there were many layers of their relationship that were not working out. Later on, Fans discovered Yrigoyen liked multiple racist and sexist tweets. To follow up, Kufrin spoke on Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelor Happy Hourpodcast.

“It wasn’t something that we just arrived at one night. It wasn’t based solely off of one Instagram post or somebody else’s opinions or comments,” she explained on the podcast.

Yrigoyen has seemed to have moved on faster than Kufrin.  On New Years Day Kufrin made an announcement to Instagram that really dove into what she learned from the relationship.

“Thank you for breaking my heart & allowing me to put the pieces back together in the most weird, but customized way… You rocked me, but ya couldn’t fully knock me,” said Kufrin on her Instagram post.

One of my personal favorite Bachelor couples, Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood decided to split Mid-April. Randolph met Underwood during the 23rd season of the Bachelor. Although the show did not end with an engagement, both decided to further grow their relationship after the show. They seemed to have a pretty stable connection over the past two years. After Underwood battled COVID-19 back in March, things suddenly got rocky for the two of them. Both decided to call it quits because they believed they are just better off as friends. They needed to start their own chapter.

“I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him. We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each other’s back. Always,” said Randolph in her previous Instagram post.

There seems to be an ongoing pattern with Bachelor couples these days. With so many Bachelor Nation breakups, I am losing hope for Matt James’ new season. Is it even worth the watch?
