St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated around the world with parades, festive food and a whole lot of green, whether one is actually Irish or not. In fact, many places sell St. Patrick’s Day inspired desserts and drinks throughout the whole month of March. If you are looking for an easy way to celebrate, below is a list of the best, festive St. Patty’s drinks (non-alcoholic, of course) to try right here in Sioux Falls.

Shamrock Milkshake at B&G Milky Way

This is possibly the best Shamrock shake that can be found in Sioux Falls. Its mint flavor is not too overpowering, as McDonald’s can be, and it has a thick consistency that can only be eaten with a spoon. The shamrock milkshake has a light, aesthetic green tone that makes this dessert even more delicious. It comes in small, medium, large and monster sizes. Don’t miss out on this limited edition St. Patrick’s day dessert!

Leprechaun Smoothie at Juice Stop

Juice Stop’s Leprechaun smoothie combines lemonade, vanilla yogurt, lime sherbet and ice to create a refreshing and citrusy, festive drink. This is considered a specialty drink through the month of March, but they are still able to make it year-round. It is offered in either a 12 ounce or 24 ounce cup.

Shamrock Shake and Oreo Shamrock McFlurry at McDonald’s

McDonald’s is often credited for being the first to create the shamrock shake with its vanilla ice cream, mint syrup and whipped cream to top it off. Their Oreo Shamrock McFlurry tastes even better with its crushed Oreo pieces, mixing flavors of mint and chocolate together in one dessert. The shake comes in small, medium or large, and the McFlurry comes in both a regular and snack size.

Shamrock Frappuccino at Starbucks

This festive drink can actually be found on Starbucks’ secret menu, but it is so popular that most baristas know how to make it. The shamrock frappuccino blends notes of vanilla, mint and green tea flavors to make the perfect St. Patrick’s day drink. It is a vanilla bean frappuccino with peppermint syrup (1.5 pumps tall, 2 pumps grande, 2.5 pumps venti), classic syrup (½ pump tall, one pump grande, 1.5 pumps venti) and matcha powder (2 scoops tall, 2.5 scoops grande, 3 scoops venti).
