A popular fast food chain has made its mark on Sioux Falls. Chick-fil-a opened on Thursday Sept. 23rd and is already a hit for LHS students. 

For years, many Sioux Falls residents have been hoping for a Chick-fil-a, and their wishes finally came true. Chick-fil-a is a famous fast food restaurant that many people love. It is now located on west 41st street. Chick-fil-a, known for their delicious chicken, is right next to the new Chipotle and Crumbl Cookies. So many students were excited for the grand opening that the line was all the way out of the parking lot. 

Despite the long line, the workers did a great job getting the food to the customers as fast as possible. You would think that you would be sitting there for hours, but the line moved relatively fast for it being the first day. The reason it moves so fast is because it is not like an ordinary drive through line;they have workers outside taking people’s orders so it moves smoothly. Not only is it really fast, but the workers are very friendly and nice. They always seem like they want to be there unlike other fast food places. 

I decided to go on the second day it was open to see what it would be like. The line was very long, but I still got my food in about 30 minutes because of their unique drive through. They had many workers ready and were very prepared. By just looking at the line, I thought it was going to take an hour and I was very shocked at how fast it was. The chicken is my favorite ever, and the BBQ sauce is the best I have ever had. Some people say their food is too hyped, but I do not think it is. It is not too spendy but it is not super cheap either. If I could change one thing about Chick-fil-a, I would make it a little cheaper. 

I recommend going to Chick-fil-a because of how good the food is and because of how fast it takes to get the food. My go-to order is number 3 with a diet coke. Be sure to include BBQ sauce to complete the meal.
