All across America, the distasteful parking jobs of high schoolers have been ridiculed by their school’s “bad parking” Instagram accounts. Within the past few months, many LHS students have fallen victim to their school’s bad parking account, @lhs_bad_parkers. Gaining over 1,100 followers, almost half of the school’s student body, in just over two months has made people question who could possibly be behind this Instagram page.

Clearly wishing to remain anonymous, the person behind @lhs_bad_parkers does not give out much information at all in regards to their identity.

“I have people messaging me all the time trying to figure out who I am,” said @lhs_bad_parkers. “People ask me all the time what grade I am in and just ask me questions in general in attempt to find out who I am.”

With that being said, quite literally no information is known about the secret account runner. They do not reveal their grade, age, gender, the activities they are in and anything else in between. In fact, they believe that remaining anonymous is what makes running the account fun.

“Remaining anonymous is the best part about [running the account] because I think it’s so funny that people who follow the account sit next to me in class and they don’t even know they’re sitting next to the person who runs the bad parking account… It makes me feel mysterious,” said @lhs_bad_parkers. “And also, if I wanted people to know who I am, or even know a little about me, it would likely be displayed on the account in some way or another. I find it funny when people ask who I am, like if I wanted people to know [who I am] I would have my name on the account, you know.”

With the class of 2022’s graduation coming up in just over five months, it is not completely known if the account will still be active next school year. Since the grade of the owner of @lhs_bad_parkers is unknown, nobody is certain whether the account will still be active next school year. If they are a senior, chances are they will not run the account next school year. However, if they are a current junior, sophomore or freshman, it seems likely that they will continue to run the account until they graduate. The owner of the account has many options and has brought up two possibilities of what might happen in regards to revealing their identity.

“I’m not sure if I will ever reveal my identity or not to be honest. If I do, it will likely be when I graduate. But also, I have people that could take over the account for me when I do graduate, so it’s just gonna depend on how I’m feeling then and what my options are,” said @lhs_bad_parkers.

Though it is unknown if and when LHS students will discover the hidden identity of the person behind their school’s bad parking account, its owner will continue to expose the bad parking jobs of LHS for as long as they possibly can.
