Boredom Busters
Hey! Are you bored, live in Sioux Falls and have no clue what to do with your time? Well here are some places and things to do around the town.
#1: Workout classes:
In Sioux Falls there are many places to do a fun workout class with your friends. There is Revolution Yoga and cycling classes, Amy Miller training (AMT), Ignite Fitness Studio and many other places to move your body. There are many varieties of workouts at these locations. Many classes consist of cycling and Yoga Sculpt at high room temperatures, ranging from 82-100 degrees. You are sure to break a sweat and benefit from the intensity of the workouts.
#2: Hiking:
In Sioux Falls, there are many places to go hiking. The most popular places that are perfect for hiking are: Good Earth State Park, Leaders Park, Tuthill Park and Arrowhead Park. These are only a few of the best hiking trails around Sioux Falls. Good Earth has a variety of trails, all of them being beautiful. When the weather gets warmer, this is a perfect activity for everyone.
#3: Jazz Fest:
This activity will take place on July 19th and20th. This is a perfect place to hang out with friends, eat really good food and drinks from food trucks. Also, many vendors set up shop, making a little strip mall with all sorts of handcrafts, face painting and henna. This event is only here for some time, so do not forget to show up for some good music and amazing food.
#4: Terrace Park:
Terrace Park is a pretty, scenic, and quiet (most of the time) park. Located by the Japanese Gardens, this site is perfect for meditation, reading a book and taking pictures. It is located by a large lake overlooking the trees. Perfect for anyone and everyone to hang out at.
Many times we take Sioux Falls for granted in the fact that we have lived here for many years and believe that we have seen and done it all. But there are many spots still unknown to many people. Above were just a couple of things to do and sights to see, but I can assure you that there are many more to be discovered.
