Famous music artist, Nelly, performing at the Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls this previous summer. What ‘Nights under the lights’ really looks like.

From the intimate hosting of the private Country Club of Sioux Falls to the brilliant lights of the Denny Sanford Arena, Sioux Falls has always been a great venue for concerts. Most of the concerts that have been held in Sioux Falls have been country concerts but places like these have hosted some big names in the past including Nelly, Morgan Wallen, Demi Lovato and Luke Combs. Our location does not always bring in the biggest names but cities around us certainly do. Sioux Falls’ proximity to big cities comes with major advantages when it comes to seeing celebrities like Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and rappers like A Boogie. There are some exciting concerts coming up in and around Sioux Falls in the following weeks.

  1. Friday, Sept. 29 – Country singer Brett Young is performing in Sioux Falls at the Sanford Pentagon at 7:30 p.m. Setting the stage for Young will be Jake Scott and Griffin Palmer to open for him.
  1. Friday, Sept. 29 – The Gaslight Anthem is performing in Sioux Falls at The District at 2:30 p.m. Two special guests will be appearing with the band, Donnovan Woods and Catbite.
  1. Thursday, Oct. 12 – Country singer Luke Bryan is performing in Sioux Falls at the Convention Center at 7 p.m. Connor Smith and Hailey Whitters will be joining Bryan.
  1. Thursday, Oct. 5 – Rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is performing in Lincoln, NE at the Pinnacle Bank Arena at 8:00 p.m. Toosii and Kaliii will be performing before A Boogie.
  1. Thursday, June 20 – Country singer Morgan Wallen is performing at U.S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 6:00 p.m. Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith and Bryan Martin will be opening for Wallen.

Tickets to these concerts are easy to find. The linked website is Ticketmaster, where they have all concert tickets in every state. Usually, the more in advance fans buy their tickets the cheaper they will be. Sometimes when going to big-name concerts the tickets are always expensive, no matter when they are bought.
