Formal dresses come in many different styles, lengths and colors.

The long awaited date, Dec. 2 approaches and, with it comes chaotic planning, an abundance of picture taking and picking out the best outfit. The night of formal can go one of two ways; perfect or disastrous. Finding the dress that is just right is a crucial component of having a flawless formal night. Ideally the dress should be in a good price range, so you do not regret buying a dress that likely will only get worn once. Of course it also needs to be unique in the hopes no one else has the same dress. With these needs in mind, here are the best online stores to buy your formal dress.

Lulus: Both freshman and sophomore year I bought my dresses here. They both fit well, looked cute, unique and most importantly were comfortable enough that I did not need to focus on my outfits all night. At the dance I did not notice anyone with the exact same dress as me. There were, of course, similar dresses but not the exact same. Lulus also has a decent return policy, so ordering multiple dresses, choosing one and returning the rest is easy to accomplish.

Revolve: Revolve has a variety of prices when it comes to dresses because they sell many different designers. But even with that in mind they have numerous dresses under $80 that are pretty and unique. With different styles of dresses, there is sure to be a dress that is exactly what you were looking for. In the case you order multiple dresses, Revolve’s return policy is even better than Lulus because it gives you 60 days to get a full refund, with free returns.

Lucy in the Sky: I cannot say I have ever purchased a dress here, however, the dresses are stylish, and the prices are even better with dresses as low as $20. There are countless different styles to choose from and when looking at the website, it says you can get 10% off of your first purchase.

Amazon: Amazon is a great place to get a formal dress because you can trust their delivery, it will be a good price and with prime, it can get to you quickly. Amazon sells dresses from different brands, so you have various outfit options to stand apart in a dress that is unrepeated. Another great part about Amazon is that similar to the other stores, returning items is easy for those who cannot decide between dresses online and need to see them in person.

Windsor: Windsor is located in our very own Empire mall, and they also have an abundance of dresses on their website. If you see one you particularly love at one place, and its the wrong size chances are the other location may have it. Even if it is not, you can order it online, and have it delivered to your front door step. They, like many others, have a large variety of dresses coming in many different styles.

With this all being said, finding a formal dress you will love should be easy-peasy. No matter the price, length, sleeve style or color, all of these websites put together should cover all of the bases.
